Neighborhood Overview
Located close to both Burlingame Ave and Broadway, Burlingame Gardens is centrally located and presents plenty of opportunities for shopping and restaurant visits. Across the street from the eastern border of Burlingame Gardens are the airport hotels, Burlingame soccer complex and Robert E Wolley state park. This area is foremost a single family home neighborhood with few condos and townhouses. Although the neighborhood properties are of mixed age many were built in the 1940s and 1950s. The sizes of the houses range from small to mid sized with a few properties over 3,000 sqft. Burlingame Garden is served by Roosevelt elementary, McKinley Elementary school, and Burlingame Intermediate. The assigned high school is Burlingame High School which is located in adjacent Oak Grove Manor.
Burlingame Gardens offers easy access to highway 101, all while being a both walking and bike friendly neighborhood.
