Neighborhood Overview
Located just east of Downtown Burlingame, Burlingame Park offers the closeness of shops and restaurants in the buzzing downtown with the tranquility of a residential neighborhood. Just like the name alludes, this is a neighborhood with a park-like appearance. The neighborhood sports larger flat lots, and many of the homes are on the larger side. Most homes in this area are from the first half of the 20th century and particularly the 1920s. Children in Burlingame Park attend Washington Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, Burlingame Intermediate, and Burlingame High School. Pershing Park provides both a playground and basketball court for neighborhood kids.
