Neighborhood Overview
Lyon Hoag borders Downtown to the west, making shops, restaurants and Burlingame Caltrain station only minutes away. Next door to Lyon Hoag by its east border, by the bay, you will find Coyote Point Recreation Area. Here you can enjoy a variety of activities including swimming, jogging, bicycling and boating to name a few. There are also picnic tables and a playground. This neighborhood offers a wide variety of properties both in style and age, although many homes were built in the first half of the 20th century. The neighborhood is the oldest neighborhood in Burlingame and consists of primarily single family houses. Schools serving this area are Washington Elementary, Burlingame Intermediate, and Burlingame High school.
Lyon Hoag is situated close to Burlingame Avenue and the Burlingame Caltrain station on its west border and highway 101 on its east border.
