Neighborhood Overview
With its higher elevation, many Mills Estates homes have a view of the bay. The properties in Mills Estate are often on the larger side, with the majority of houses larger than 2,000 sqft. You can also find a few Eichler homes in this neighborhood. Single family homes built in the 50s and 60s dominate the housing market in Mills Estate, but there are newer homes mixed in with the older homes in this area as well as some condos. Mills Estate does not have any schools of its own, instead children living here attend Franklin Elementary and Burlingame Intermediate School located in nearby Ray Park. Burlingame High School is the assigned high school for Mills Estate. In the heart of Mills Estates you will find the Curnavaca Park, a perfect place for a picnic with its large green field and beautiful views, the park also comes with a baseball field and a playground. Mills Estates offers easy access to highway 280 for an easy commute up or down the peninsula.
